SHC Audiology

SHC Audiology works in partnership with the NHS, providing extra support and capacity in the delivery of high quality Audiology services which are easily accessible to the local community.

Admission Criteria
GP Information

SHC Audiology will provide full diagnostic and hearing aid services, on behalf of the NHS, for patients who are above 55 years of age with suspected age related hearing loss.

Care Pathway:

Access to services: Patient with hearing difficulty can access NHS hearing aid services by referral to the preferred audiology provider by their GP, or in some areas through ENT consultants.

Asessment and Hearing Aid Provision: One-stop or two appointments provided for assessment and fitting of hearing aids.
